Chevrolet has topped the charts this year with different models and plan on doing so in the following year. Chevrolet has displayed a revitalized drive for the new vehicle they are producing. I test drove this vehicle and I want one. It surprised me with the power, the quietness and overall appeal. It is a very stylish vehicle and if I did not have four kids, well it would be in my drive way right now. The Chevrolet Equinox has been in the top selling SUV category all year. Have you recently been the person pulled over receiving the regrettable ticket because you are driving a Mazda RX-8 from Sarasota Mazda? There are some cities that rank higher in the speed traps than others. How they rank this is by speed traps per 100,000 residents. The National Motorists Association keeps track of data from drivers of when they have been pulled over and ticketed among other things. There is a website that you can go to also called the Speed Trap Exchange report public hot spots or chronic speed traps. The list that the NMA revealed shows that first on the list is Livonia, Michigan, they are ranking at the number one spot with 27.9 speed traps per 100,000 residents. That is quite a number, coming in second is Windsor, Ontario with 17.6, I guess the Canadians can drive just as fast as Americans. The third is no surprise with Orlando, Florida coming in with 17.2. I just wonder if they get people because so many tourists do not know where they are going, traffic is hectic and they speed up to get over to get off at Disney or Hollywood Studios. Either way, that is one city that brings in a ton of cash. Las Vegas comes in at four with 11.9, this number might be low because there are people actually on the street more than driving. There are more flights going into Vegas than vehicles. To top off the top five is Denver, Colorado with 10.9.

Paint your own Rims? Who would have thought something previously done by professionals could be done in your own home on the Chevy for sale in Sarasota.
While, the concept of painting your own rims has been around a few years now, many questions pop up of how to do it and I thought I would share my own experiences with painting my Corvette stock rims. You can do this to and find Chevy Corvette prices anywhere. I have read up many examples of how to do this, but my first time trying was this year when I chose to refinish my winter rims. I was quite please with the outcome. You can also do your own oil changes at home, but if that’s not for your, you can check out Bradenton Oil Changes for the best service and prices.
First, what the hell do you need to paint your rims? Paint of course. This is where Duplicolor comes in with their wheel paint. They offer paint colors to match your style coming in white, gunmetal, classic silver and bronze as well. I chose to do mine in gunmetal leaving my lip the stock polished style look. So here are your options:
So you chose your color, bought your paint and are semi-ready. First, you need to sand down your rims. Why? This gives the surface a rough texture so the paint has something to adhere to. Reference the article to polish your rims on how sanding of the rims works. The only difference with this is how far you want to go. In my case, being winter rims painted I chose not to go through the process of stripping the paint on the rims completely. I simply sanded down the surface with 300 grit sandpaper ensuring to make everything sanded equally. This gives the rough surface required for the paint to adhere, and as long as your rims had no damage it should be good enough.
Your rims are sanded; you have your paint and now are ready. First, make sure you clean all sanding dust off the rims and ensure a totally clean surface so the paint will stick and not flake off after your first drive out with your newly painted rims!!! Here are my rims washed and ready to completely dry before painting:
My rims are masked off with newspaper and masking tape. Of course you want to do this so you don’t turn your tires into the color you are painting. I don’t want gunmetal painted tires. Also if you look close enough, you will know that the lip has been masked off as well. So I carefully applied the masking tape on the lip to protect it from being painted as well. Also, you know the little thing you pump your air into, mask that off as well unless you want that to have a color change as well.
The rims are dry, you have masked off what you don’t want painted and now you are ready. Put some newspaper on the ground and place the rim on top of the newspaper. You don’t want to paint the concrete underneath the rim so keep it clean with the newspaper.
Now apply your first coat of paint. Let the paint dry well and next day admire your handiwork and results.

Hyundai will finally deliver the Veloster to Hyundai Dealer Salisbury and other dealerships throughout the world after a series of delays that resulted from labor disputes. The three door Veloster is a new model offered by Hyundai and can be found at a Hyundai Dealer Vineland, and is an attempt by Hyundai to enter the premium vehicle segment. The car was first shown at the Detroit Auto Show and it will be a similar vehicle to Volkswagen’s Scirocco. The cost of the Hyundai Veloster will be around 20,000 euros. Other similar models can be purchased from a Honda Troy dealership.
The Veloster will be available after delays that stemmed from labor disputes halted production of the model. The Veloster is designed as a three door model with a single door on the driver’s side and two doors on the passenger side. The Veloster was designed by Hyundai to be more practical than a two door coupe. The vehicle will be released in Europe in the first half of the year and in North America and other regions of the world in the second half of the year. There are still labor disputes as well as limited capacity expansion plans that are limiting the release of the model.
In Korea, consumers are beginning to switch to foreign brands, and this poses a threat to Hyundai which has relied on the Korean market for the majority of its sales. Hyundai has released the Veloster in response to premium models that have been dominating the import vehicle market including models produced by BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and others. Younger buyers however prefer more affordable brands such as Volkswagen, BMW, Toyota, and others. The Veloster is the first premium model that targets the younger buyers and it is also a reflection of the company’s new brand slogan, which is to offer premium vehicles at affordable prices.

The times are hard between the slow recovering economy and the oil prices continuously on the rise. Having options is always best and here are some that are a bang for your buck, depending on what category you might fall into. USA Today has made up two categories that consumers fall into. ” Young Adults that were hit hard by the recession, some are unemployed, still live at home to cut expenses and eye the fuel efficient cars. Others just now got a decent job and want a credible new car.” Now the “Older Adults are boomers trying to cut costs but unwilling to buy a car that lacks basic amenities, such as air conditioning and power window.”
The cheapest of the vehicles under $15k is the Nissan Versa. This year’s model starts right under $10K, but does not come with too many amenities. Now just the fyi, the 2012 model of the Nissan Versa does have more standard features including electric power steering and air conditioning. With the starting price of just under $11K and up. Other small vehicles that are not just basic models is the Ford Fiesta. This vehicle appeals to many consumers because you can personalize this vehicle. Which is trendy, everyone wants their own unique style. In competition with the Fiesta is the Hyundai Accent or the Kia Rio. The standard features on some of these is what makes it such an economical bonus. Cheap does not have to equate to less than. These cars can give you everything you want for a more reasonable price with better fuel efficiency.
